Falls of Holm is the name of the farmhouse at Lower Welton, given this name due to the many small water falls running down the burn, through the garden by the Holm wood.
This is a working farm which has both cattle and sheep. Crops include potatoes for the seed market, fodder for the stock for winter and barley destined for the malting whisky industry.
Sheep are our main interest on the farm – “Lambing Live” is enjoyed by many of our Spring guests. Visitors often sample some of our own home produced lamb on our evening menu.
You are welcome to walk round the farm. We especially enjoy a walk from the farm buildings, down the path by the burn and wild garden, out into the orchard where we grow fruit for our own consumption.
